Middle School Orientation
All students who are registered to attend LMS in the fall will need to attend this event in the Lincoln Middle School Gym. Students will pick up their schedules for the current school year and complete required paperwork.
8th Grade
Wednesday, August 29th - 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
7th Grade
Wednesday, August 29th - 8:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.
6th Grade
Thursday, August 30th - 11:45 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
On August 30th, sixth grade WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) orientation will be held from 8:00 -11:45 a.m. at Lincoln Middle School. This is a student-only function so we encourage you to let your child attend on her or his own. Please feel free, however, to return at 11:45 and walk through registration with your student.
LMS WEB COMING FOR THE 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR
WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) is a middle school orientation/transition program that welcomes sixth graders and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their middle school experience. Through this nationally recognized middle school transition program, members of the eighth grade class are trained to act as positive role models, mentors, and leaders to help guide the sixth graders to discover what it takes to be successful in middle school. Schools have reported that the WEB middle school transition program has enhanced anti-bullying efforts, reduced discipline issues, and increased school safety, creating an improved school climate and a greater sense of connection for the whole school.

**If you have a book fine/fee you will need to pay this in the middle school office before receiving your schedule. Books and locker assignments will also be held until obligations are met.
The middle school office will open beginning Monday, August 20, 2012. Regular office hours are 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.
*If you are not able to attend orientation, your child will receive their schedule upon entering the building on September 4th. Pictures will be taken in September.
