As we begin a new year we also look back at Lincoln’s athletic history. Before the advent of Title IX and girl’s athletic competition only boys participated in competitive sports such as basketball. Here was the schedule for boy’s basketball for the 1950-51 season.

The Varsity played University High for the Class C District Crown losing 49-43. They had defeated Saline 38-24 in the first round.
