Performance Committee

The Performance Committee is a sub-committee of the Lincoln Board of Education. The Performance Committee is chaired by a Board Trustee, and it includes two other Board Members, District Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, and Human Resource Director. The committee meets monthly during the school year.

The purpose of the Performance Committee is to discuss, review, and evaluate current and ongoing initiatives, programs, and proposals that impact curriculum, instruction, and student achievement. The committee also looks at the current District climate regarding staff, student, and community surveys. The Performance Committee also sets the yearly agenda and presentation schedule for the Lincoln Board of Education.

The Committee shares its information and recommendations with other committees, such as Planning, Finance, and Executive. In some cases, the committee will be asked to make a recommendation directly to the Lincoln Board of Education.
